Abstract:

This report details the procedures required to successfully deploy a functional Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) server (version 5.6) within a Docker containerized environment. It provides a step-by-step guide derived from a proven automation script covering system prerequisites, Docker network and image creation, software installation, initial configuration, and certificate generation for secure communications. The objective is to provide a clear and repeatable process for ARL personnel and partners to establish their own TAK server instance for tactical communication and situational awareness.
