Abstract:ARL developed a streamlined process for programming the MY700 printed circuit board (PCB) solder jet printer using FactoryLogix software to support in-house PCB fabrication for custom diagnostic sensor suites. The MY700 jet printer—a high-speed dual-jet dispensing platform—enables precise solder paste application, reducing manual labor while improving accuracy and efficiency during PCB assembly. This report outlines the step-by-step process for creating a new assembly program using Altium Designer for PCB design, FactoryLogix for program generation, and a jet printing interface for verification and customization. The report also details the setup of PCB panels, fiducial assignment, component selection, and solder paste deposit configuration, ensuring reliable program transfer to the MY700 system. Furthermore, the report addresses network restrictions that require stand-alone systems and approved file transfer methods.
