Abstract:ARL has developed a suite of software tools for the unified collection of game state information, including behavioral and physiological time series data, for multiplayer human-in-the-loop simulations that use the Unreal game engine. Specifically, these tools consist of a collection of Unreal Engine plug-ins that automate the data collection processes for single- or multiplayer experiments. These tools use a database backend for near–real-time access to game or player information for third-party applications or analysis. This report provides an overview of the tools including overview, installation, customization, and data export. Detailed information about each plug-in is provided with software as a README.
