Abstract:The continuous wave laser-induced damage threshold of various chalcogenide glasses, made by SCHOTT and Amorphous Materials Inc, are measured for a 5-s irradiance time of 1.07-µm light focused to a spot size with 1/e2 diameter of 830 or 1044 µm, following standards from the International Organization for Standardization.
