Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA)
A Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) establishes a cooperative relationship between a federal laboratory and its collaborator(s) for the purpose of advancing research and development and generating new intellectual property (IP).
Patent License Agreement (PLA)
Under the Federal Technology Transfer Act, ARL makes federally funded inventions from basic and applied research available to the private sector, or industry, for new product development and sales to benefit private industry and the overall public interest.
Test Services Agreement (TSA)
Department of Defense laboratories may make available to any person or entity (including universities), on a reimbursable basis, laboratory services for the testing of materials, equipment, models, computer software, and other items.
