The DEVCOM ARL implementation of the AFC Army Research Risk Assessment Protection Program (ARRP) is an effort to help identify and mitigate existing or potential risk of Conflicts of Commitment/Conflicts of Interest (CoC/CoI) in Army research grants and cooperative agreements.
DEVCOM ARL has a vigorous international program with the lead on numerous active and proposed bilateral agreements, as well as support to other Department of the Army and Department of Defense agencies in their cooperative programs. These international agreements enable information exchanges and cooperative research programs with allies in selected technology areas where their strengths complement ARL’s and offer good leveraging opportunities.
Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) / Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), in partnership with DEVCOM ARL, seeks research and development of innovative, energy-efficient, reliable computer architectures for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community to implement large-scale data-analytic applications, as well as other classes of large problems.
